Abstract

Hat, a tudományra új ektomikorrhiza leírását publikáltuk. A vizsgálat bükkösök ektomikorrhiza-közösségeit ugyanazon gombataxonok, elsősorban a világos köpenyű russuloid (pl. | The aim of our project was to detect and characterize the frequent and typical mycobionts of the ectomycorrhizal (EM) communities in Hungarian beech stands by light- and electronmicroscopic and molecular taxonomic methods (PCR, rDNA sequencing, cladistic analysis). During the study, 608 EM were separated from 35 soil samples, 186 EM were identified to generic or specific level, including 66 taxa, identified using molecular methods. Six unknown EM had been described. The morphological-anatomical description and DNA-based identification of the EM of the white truffles (Tuber borchii group), the hypogeous Genea and Pachyphloeus lineage, and species of the basidial Tomentella had been published in leading journals (summarized IF = 9.53). In frame of this project, two MSc, one PhD and a DSc dissertation were also completed. Comparing our results of the EM-community-structure of the beech stands of Bükk Mountains with previous, fruitbody-based investigations in the territory proved that the latter have given insufficient information on the presence and distribution of the EM mycobionts. While fruitbody-collection could only detect 18 species of 12 genera, EM-analysis revealed 31 species of 20 genera at the same forest. In all of the three beech stands investigated here, the same fungal genera were dominant (e.g. Lactarius, boletoid morphotypes, Humaria, Tuber, and Tomentella), however represented by different species at different sites.
