Abstract

A növekedési függvények különféle típusainak előzetes elemzésére támaszkodva, alkalmazásukat úttörő jelleggel a belpolitikai közbeszéd dinamikájának elemzésére terjesztettük ki. Elsőként a "Tilos Rádió" ügyet, a ''kettős állampolgárság'' kérdését és a kapcsolódó témák sajtódinamikákát elemeztük. A kutatás további tematikus kibővítésére támaszkodva megalkottunk a közbeszédi témák tipológiáját. Az első kategóriába a közbeszédben állandó mértékben jelenlévő témákat soroltuk. Ezeket neveztük "örökzöldeknek". Egy másik alapvető csoportot képviseltek azok a témák, amelyekkel kapcsolatos publikációs aktivitás hirtelen, lényegében minden előzmény nélkül indult el. Ezeket hívtuk "szenzáció alapú" témáknak. Végül olyan témára is találtunk példát, amelyet a politika réssztvevői tudatosan igyekeztek időről-időre a közbeszéd részévé tenni. | In our research we first gave an account of the most basic types of growth functions, and then surveyed the endeavors which seek to apply the use of growth functions to the broadest possible areas of social change. On basis of these, we targeted to reveal the signs of growth functions on some specific area of the daily newspapers. First we examined how the press reacted to the so called "Radio Tilos Affair", where one of participant declared that he "would liquidate all Christians". The evolution in time of the number of articles published reminds us of to typical S curve of the logistic growth. By using the logistic fit we could measure the state of emergency in the daily press. We presented a typology of the temporal dynamics of the articles on certain topics published in political dailies. Some type of topic's dynamic are not related to some concrete current event. For this reason, henceforth we called these "evergreens". In other cases we found a growth processes that start suddenly without any prior indication. We called these "sensation-based" topics. In well known that the Prime Minister of Hungary said that they had lied throughout his term in office in 2004-2006. It launched a lasting and extremely intense activity in the Hungarian media. In connection with this, we examined the dynamics of a specific area of political public discourse, and discussed in detail how this "lies" topic changed from an "evergreen" into a "sensation-based" topic.
