Abstract

(0) Összefoglaló fejezetet írtam Hopf algebroidokról a ""Handbook of Algebra"" számára. (1) C. Meninivel a nem kommutatív torsorok kategóriaelméleti tárgyalását adtuk. Igazoltuk a szimmetriát leíró két komonád Morita-Takeuchi ekvivalenciáját. | (0) I wrote a chapter about Hopf algebroids for the “Handbook of Algebra”. (1) With C. Menini, we provided a category theoretical treatment of non-commutative torsors. We proved the Morita-Takeuchi equivalence of both comonads describing the symmmetry. (2) With J. Vercruysse, we applied Morita theory to prove theorems comparing comodule categories of corings with categories of firm modules over non-unital rings. (3) With T. Brzezinski and R. Wisbauer, we studied contramodules – the less investigated one of two symmetrical notions of representation of a coring – with applications to Hopf algebras. (4) I generalized the formal theory of monads so that the resulting theory is capable to describe certain constructions related to weak Hopf algebras. (5) With S. Lack and R. Street, we introduced and studied the so called weak bimonads, generalizing weak bialgebras to not necessarily braided monoidal categories. (6) With S. Lack and R. Street, we proved that weak mixed distributive laws in any 2-category K constitute a 2-category which can be embedded into the power 2-category K^2x2. (7) I showed that weak distribitive laws in the bicategory of spans induce factorization systems on small categories. I characterized these factorization systems via a certain bilinearity property and related them to strictly associative pseudoalgebras of the 2-monad (-)^2.
