Abstract

A Zöld Híd B.I.G.G. Nonprofit Kft. (Zöld Híd Kft.) hatékony szelektív hulladékgyűjtéssel és minél többrétűbb, lehetőleg helyi újrahasznosítással igyekszik védeni környezetünket. Fő céljuk a lerakott hulladék mennyiségének csökkentése. A Zöld Híd Kft. adatai azt mutatják, hogy a zsákos rendszerrel hatékonyabban lehet a szelektív hulladékot gyűjteni, mint hulladékszigetek segítségével, ráadásul a zsákos rendszerrel gyűjtött hulladék tisztább, és kevesebb illegális szemétlerakással jár. Hátránya, hogy csak családi házas övezetben alkalmazható. A zsákos rendszer bevezetésével a szelektív hulladék mennyisége 2014 és 2017 között folyamatosan nőtt. Ezt a növekedést nem követte a kommunális hulladék csökkenése, mivel a lakosok a félig üres kukákba egyéb hulladékot, például elektromos eszközökből származóakat vagy építési törmeléket raktak. A zöld hulladék mennyisége is évről évre gyarapszik, hasznosítása azonban még jórészt megoldatlan. Tapasztalatom alapján a hulladékfeldolgozó társaságok feladatai igen nehezek, sikeres működésükhöz elengedhetetlen a lakosság megfelelő hozzáállása. Ahhoz, hogy a hasznosítatlan hulladék mennyiségét csökkenteni tudjuk, nemcsak a lakosság vásárlási, fogyasztási és szemetelési szokásait kell megváltoztatnunk, hanem magát a gyártási folyamatot is optimalizálni kell, hogy minél kisebb mennyiségű szemét keletkezzen. ----- The aim of Zöld Híd B.I.G.G. Nonprofit Ltd (Zöld Híd Ltd which translates to „Green Bridge”) is to protect the environment, by introducing effective selective waste collecting system and recycling techology. In order to avoid landfilling by communal waste, they are about to recycle as much material, as possible, furthermore they are trying to solve the recycling of the green waste on site. I have received the data regarding the quantity of the waste, collected by the Zöld Híd Ltd. between 2014 and 2017, in a weekly breakdown. The chart represents the quantities of municipal-, selective-, and green waste that had been collected by them, as well as the waste collected at the selective islands per settlements. The efficiency of selective waste collection increased by using bags for the different waste types. This solution works only for residental areas with single-family homes. In housing estates the less effective selective waste islands could be used. Although the amount of selective waste increased between 2014 and 2017, interestingly this increase was not mirrored by the decrease of communal waste. According to the interviews, residents started dumping other waste into their half empty bins, like electronical or construction materials. The quantities of the green waste collected by Zöld Híd thrives year by year, especially after the introduction of special bags for it. Although the amount of green waste increases, its further use is mainly unresolved. Based on my experience, the task of waste-managing companies in Hungary is far from easy, and their succes is higly dependent on the attitude of residents. To decrease the amount of the stored waste even further, the shopping and consumptional habits of people as well as the production methods should be changed.
