Abstract
When reconstructing historic buildings,especially castles, accurate details regarding the original building are hard to come by. Often somewhat romantic ideas, based upon hearsay, or naive paintings form the direction a project might take. The architects for this project have managed to, as close as reasonably possible, recreate one castle tower whilst creating a new abstracted tower based upon "signs of the past". The latter being extruded upwards from a known floor plan to create a new castle tower.
