Abstract
During the collecting tour of the Aquatic Macroinvertebrates Research Group of the University of Pécs in the Rodos Island, four species of Laccobius were found: L. cretaeus, L. gracilis, L. obscuratus aegaeus, L. scutellaris. The specific status of L. cretaeus is reinstated (it was formerly considered ssp. of L. gracilis): Laccobius cretaeus Gentili, 1975, stat. nov.
