Abstract
HOUSE OF ARTS, ZURICH, SWITZERLAND – ARCHITECTS: DAVID CHIPPERFIELD and CHRISTOPH FELGER A clear geometric form punctuated to allow for quality of light and spatial arrangement provides Zurich with a monumental place for the arts. The main task not being to create a monument to its architect, to create a monument to the citizens of this city, an autonomous public building which has long been missing from the cityscape.
