Abstract
MACALIK and MOSSFERN ARCHITECT'S OFFICES, KOLOZVÁR (CLUJ-NAPOCA), ROMANIA; ARCHITECTS: ARNOLD MACALIK Childhood memories of openness inspired this idea to create a new office space rising from above and beyond an older street facade. Reuse of bricks from the former building found on this site link the new with the past even though the aesthetic is radically different. Perforation of all the buildings surfaces allows light to penetrate without losing a sense of enclosure, creative, strong, yet modest in character.
