Abstract
RESTORATION OF A WEEKEND HOME, GÖD, HUNGARY; ARCHITECTS: PÉTER KLOBUSZOVSKI DLA and BALÁZS ROSE The house in Göd project presents the case that the preservation of existing buildings does not necessarily have to be based on the external appearance. Importance was placed upon increasing comfort and quality of space. The materials of choice, brickwork, timber, and fine metalwork details create a home where every space is logically interlinked offering views in all directions. In addition, a garden pavilion which offsets the main composition, whilst providing further accommodation.
