Abstract

Collecting data, mostly newer than the year 2000, of weevil species considered to be rare in Hungary are given. Th ree species are new to the fauna of Hungary: Rhynchites slovenicus (Purkyně, 1954), Hypurus bertrandi (Perris, 1852) and Stenoscelis submuricata (Schönherr, 1832). Observations on host plants or information about distribution of species are also presented. With 8 fi gures.
