Abstract

The chronology and cultural contacts of the 6th-century cemetery at Hegykő. The Hegykő cemetery (and the Hegykő group) has strong ties with the 6th-century cemeteries of Lower-Austria both regarding its material culture and its funerary rites, and thus any interpretation must be set in this context. The comparative analysis of the cemetery’s two grave groups sheds light on the tendency that the community using the cemetery gradually acculturated to the population using the 6th-century cemeteries of Pannonia. | A hegykői temető (és a Hegykő-csoport) mind tárgyi kultúrájában, mind rítusában az alsó-ausztriai 6. századi temetőkhöz kapcsolódik, így értelmezése csupán azokkal összefüggésben lehetséges. A temető két sírcsoportjának összehasonlító elemzése során ugyanakkor érzékelhető az a tendencia, ahogyan a temetőt használó közösség fokozatosan közeledik a 6. századi pannóniai temetők népességéhez.
