Abstract

A cikk a Keglevich család nagykátai sírkápolnájának építészeti leírása és dokumentálása után a hasonló térszervezésű magyarországi emlékeket tekinti át. A kutatás során kiderült, hogy 1759-ben gróf Keglevich Gábor építtette az építészettörténetírás által eddig részletesen nem tárgyalt, különleges térformálású kápolnát. Az ovális hajót hat pillér veszi körbe a külső fallal koncentrikusan, a szentély, a sekrestye és ez egykori mellékkápolna háromszög alakban csatlakoznak a centrális térhez. A kápolna harántirányban nyújtott ovális alaprajzú főtömege, a főhomlokzat megformálása és a kupola megtámasztásának rendszere mind Gianlorenzo Bernini római S. Andrea al Quirinale templomának mintaadó szerepéről tanúskodnak. A kápolna alaprajzának felmérése lehetőséget adott szerkesztésmódjának rekonstruálására. | The article describes and records the funerary chapel of the Keglevich family, situated in Nagykáta, a settlement located near Budapest, with an outlook and analysis of the Hungarian baroque buildings of similar spatial distribution. It was count Gábor Keglevich, who let the chapel built in 1759. The chapel has a particular interior space: the transversal oval nave is girdled around by six pillars concentric with the external wall; the sanctuary, the sacristy and the former chantry form a triangle around the nave. The transversal oval main mass, the details of the main façade, and the system of the buttressing around the central dome shows a close relation to the small church of S. Andrea al Quirinale in Rome, planned by Gianlorenzo Bernini. The relevation and drawing of the plan of the chapel gave the possibility to reconstruct the method of the geometrical construction.
