Abstract

A K-szinteket megismételt 0, 1000, 2000 kg K2O-, a B-szinteket megismételt 0, 20, 40, 60 kg B-, a Sr-szinteket 67 kg Sr hektáronkénti adaggal állítottuk be. Mutrágyaként 60%-os KCl-ot, 11%-os bóraxot és 33%-os SrCl2·6H2O sót alkalmaztunk. Foparcellánként 3 K-kezelés, alparcellánként 4 B-kezelés, al-alparcellánként 2 Sr-kezelés szolgált, 24 kezeléssel×3 ismétlésben = 72 parcellával, osztott parcellás elrendezésben.A kísérlet beállításakor (1987 oszén) a szántott réteg 5% CaCO3-ot, 3% humuszt, 20% agyagot tartalmazott. A talajvíz szintje 13–15 m mélyen található, a terület aszályérzékeny. A Ktrágyázás ezen túlmenoen nagyobb K-, illetve mérsékeltebb Mg-tartalmakat eredményezett a szalmában. A Sr-trágyázással enyhén nott a szalma Sr-, illetve mérséklodött Na-tartalma. | Interactions between the elements K, B and Sr were examined in winter wheat at the Institute’s Nagyhörcsök Experimental Station in the Mezőföld region of Hungary. In general, basic fertilization involved 100 kg each of N and P2O5·ha−1·year−1, applied in the form of 25% calcium ammonium nitrate and superphosphate. The K, B and Sr levels were adjusted by repeated doses of 0, 1000 and 2000 kg K2O, 0, 20, 40 and 60 kg B, and 0 and 67 kg Sr per hectare in the form of 60% KCl, 11% borax and 33% SrCl2·6H2O. The three K treatments formed the main plots, the four B treatments the subplots and the two Sr treatments the sub-subplots, giving a total of 24 treatments × 3 replications = 72 plots, arranged in a split-plot design. When the experiment was set up in autumn 1987 the ploughed layer contained 5% CaCO3, 3% humus and 20% clay. The soil had pH values of pH(H2O) 7.8 and pH(KCl) 7.3 and nutrient supplies (mg·kg−1) of 180–200 AL-K2O, 100–120 AL-P2O5, 110–150 KCl-soluble Mg, 60–80 KCl+EDTA-soluble Mn, 1–2 Cu and Zn, and 0.7 B. The soil was satisfactorily supplied with K, Ca and Mg, moderately with N and P and poorly with Zn and Cu. The groundwater was found at a depth of 13–15 m and the area was prone to drought. The mean temperature was 11°C and the annual rainfall sum was 400–600 mm, with uneven distribution. The following major conclusions were drawn from the results:<list list-type="simple"> <label/>As this pseudomyceliar chernozem loamy soil was satisfactorily supplied with both potassium and boron, no fertilizer effects were observed in the yield. The forecrop, sorghum, dried out the soil, and only 234 mm precipitation fell during the 9-month vegetation period of wheat. In this dry year, the average yield was 3.0 t·ha−1 straw and 3.5 t·ha−1 grain. <label/>The B content of the straw and grain was almost doubled by both B and K fertilization, so the B contents recorded in the control rose four times on average. In addition, K fertilization resulted in higher K content and lower Mg content in the straw. After Sr treatment there was a slight increase in the Sr content of the straw and a reduction in the Na content. <label/>Due to the small straw yield and the extremely high K supplies, the straw accumulated 4.22% K. The specific K and Mg contents of 1 t grain and the corresponding byproducts were more than twice the usual values and could thus be misleading for fertilizer recommendations. <label/>90% of the K and 98% of the Sr taken up by the plants was accumulated in the by-product, i.e. in the straw.
