Abstract

The genus Randia L. (Rubiaceae) is outstandingly represented with 24 species in the flora of the state Guerrero (México). The authors give an overview of this richness with an analytical key, and a detailed revision of the polymorphic Randia laevigata complex, describing 5 species new to science: R. coronata, R. denticulata, R. laevigatoides, R. multiflora, R. ovalifolia.
