Abstract

A honvédorvosok az Interkozmosz űrrepülések lebonyolításában aktív szerepet vállaltak. A Varsói Szerződés repülő- és űrorvosi munkacsoportjában végzett kutatómunkájukkal hozzájárultak a kedvezőtlen élettani hatások megismeréséhez. A jogi feltételek megteremtése után az 1970-es évek második felében az amerikai és a szovjet tapasztalatok alapján kialakultak a hadrafogható űrhajósok kiválogatásának szabályai az elfogó vadászrepülőgép- vezetők köréből. A Magyar Néphadsereg kecskeméti Repülőorvosi Vizsgáló és Kutató Intézetében a személyi és tárgyi feltételek megteremtése után 1977-ben megkezdődött a magyar űrhajósok kiválogatása. Military doctor doctors took a prominent part in the arrangement of Intercosmos space flights. They contributed to the research on the adverse physiological effect with their participation in the team of aviation and space medicine within the Warsaw Pact. After creating the legal conditions in the second half of the 1970s, the regulation of selecting fighter interceptor pilots, who may be fit for space service, has been settled on the basis of American and Soviet experience. Soon after having the resources in staff and equipment in 1977 the selection of Hungarian astronauts had begun in the Aeromedical Research Institute in Kecskemét which belonged to the Hungarian People’s Army
