Abstract
There are a number of interdisciplinary topics, the interest for which is shared by Janusz Bańczerowski and the author of this paper. Some issues related to two of these topics are discussed. The study of the nature of information is not only one of the topics but an overarching theme that enables abstracting to be involved in the discussion.
