Abstract

A kutatás a tér közgazdaságtani szerepének vizsgálatára irányult. A kutatás első felében kisebb közleményeket jelentettem meg a témában. A kutatás zárókötete Tér és közgazdaságtan címmel jelent meg. A könyv koherens, egységes, átfogó képet nyújt a tér és a közgazdaságtan kapcsolatáról, a tér közgazdaságtani szerepéről, feldolgozva a felvetődő kérdések elméleti, módszertani és elmélettörténeti alapjait. A tárgyalásmód sajátossága, hogy az eredeti alapforrásokon alapul, a különböző nézőpontokat és megközelítéseket kritikusan ütközteti és szakirodalmi, logikai és empirikus alátámasztások mellett állást is foglal a rivális megközelítések között. A térbeli gazdasági kérdésekkel kapcsolatos számos elterjedt félreértés és leegyszerűsítés tisztázására nyílt lehetőség. A kötet részletesen foglalkozik az explicit területi iskolák módszertanával és az időben későbbi iskolák korábbi iskolákról adott értékelésével. A bírálatok értékelését közvetetten végeztem el az elmélettörténeti részben, valamint az elméletek térbeli és módszertani megalapozása tárgyalásakor. Bemutatom, hogy az időben egymást követő elméletek nem tekinthetők automatikusan a korábbi elméletek tökéletesített változatainak. Kritikusan tárgyalom az egyes területi gazdasági elemzések térszemléletét, külön a statikus és a dinamikus téralkotó elemek vonatkozásában. A könyvön kívül további eredmény a Thünen munkásságát Thünen eredeti műve alapján bemutató, a Tér és Társadalomba közlésre elfogadott tanulmányom. | The aim of the research was a systematic examination about the role of space in economics. In the first half of the research shorter papers were published. The main result of the research is the book entitled “Space and Economics”. This book supplies a coherent, unified and broad view about the connection of space and economics, about the role of the space in economics, from theoretical, methodological and history of economic thought point of view. The unique characteristic of the treatment of the topic is the use of original sources and the confrontation of various approaches. Several prevalent misunderstandings and oversimplifications were presented during the discussion. The book deals with the methodology of explicit schools of regional research and with the evaluations of the various schools. The evaluations were conducted partly in an implicit way, in the part about the history of economic thought and in the part about the space view of spatial economic research. The subsequent theories cannot be treated as a more perfect variation of the previous theories. The book deals with the treatment of static and dynamic parts of the space in the spatial economic analysis. In another paper (in the Journal “Space and Society”) I reconstructed Thünen’s theory in accordance with the original work.
