Abstract

A numerikus eredmények elfogadható egyezést mutatnak a megfelelő kísérleti konfigurációra kapott eredményekkel. | In the framework of the proposal supported, at first, visco-elastic material properties were determined mainly for PEEK and elastomer (EPDM) materials, as well as for epoxi/SiC composite material structures, in term of temperature. The numerical models first assisted in solving the contact problem, then that of (transient) heat generation and heat expansion according to the moving and distributed heat source approach. Wear simulation is based on these steps (by way of linear wear models), by taking into consideration the contact pressure, the friction coefficient and the time of wear, through repeated calculations. The (integrated) numerical algorithm developed was applied to explore wear processes in pin-on-disc equipment, functionally gradient materials, hybrid bearing bushings and steel-elastomer sliding pairs. Numerical results show an acceptable correspondence with the results yielded for the respective experimental configuration.
