Abstract
Mantispa icterica PICTET, 1865 was recorded first in the Neuroptera fauna in Hungary. So, the collection of Mantis flies of Hungarian museums was reexamened by authors again. Nomeclature problems are summarized in the European Mantispid fauna as well Mantispa lobata NAVAS, 1912 is a new junior synonim.
