Abstract
DIOCESAN VISITOR CENTRE, SZÉKESFEHÉRVÁR, HUNGARY – ARCHITECT: ROBERT GUTOWSKI Grafting into the urban fabric of Székesfehérvár, this building seems to justify the use of traditional materials and spatial form. The balanced use of cut stone and brick reflects the cities past, whilst enhancing the play on perspective created by the ramp adjacent to the public side of the building. The sense of harmony found within this building’s walls present the best form of backdrop for its exhibition of religious and historical artefacts.
