Abstract
The Sebők-collection contains the voucher specimens of the almost life-long Lepidopteran-enthusiasm of Sebők Ferenc, amateur lepidopterologist from Várpalota, Hungary. He collected 90% of his insects from the close vinicity of Várpalota and the Eastern-Bakony Mountains. Altogether the 4000 specimens – belonging to 648 species – contains nationally rare and valueable ones, that are facing extinction nowadays. The Rippl-Rónai Museum of Kaposvár purchased this well-preserved Lepidoptera collection in 2022, and the faunisctic data and evaluation of the collection are given in the currect paper.
