Abstract

Az emberi közösségek életét zavaró deviáns viselkedésmódok problémája egyidős a történelemmel. A szélsőséges magatartásmódok értelmezése és társadalmi megoldása vallási, orvosi vagy rendészeti jellegű közösségi reakciókat eredményezett. E három beszédmód végigkíséri az emberiség történetét, és jelentőségük, egymáshoz viszonyított súlyuk változó. Az orvosi értelmezési keret viszonylag későn önállósodott, és napjainkban ismét visszaszorulóban van. Az orvosi szolgáltatások szinte finanszírozhatatlan fejlődése következtében a kormányzatok korlátokat állítanak, amely korlátok a mentális betegekkel kapcsolatos intézményeket különösen is érintik. Ugyanakkor a mentális problémák rendészeti vagy szociális jellegű kezelése a társadalmakat az orvosi ellátásnál nagyobb költségekkel terheli. | The problem of deviant behaviour disturbing the life of human communities is as old as the history itself. The interpretation and the social management of extreme behaviours resulted in religious, medical and security reactions. The three ways of discourse accompany the societies along the history of mankind, and their significance and relative emphasis is variable. The medical interpretation has achieved its independence relatively late, and has been pushed back again in our age. The governments place financial restrictions due to the almost unfinanceable development of medical services. The institutions relating mental disorders are especially touched by the limitations. However the social and security management of mental disorders burdens the societies with higher costs than the expenditure of the medical service system.
