Abstract

| Some parts of the project were resulted by international cooperation between different institutions. The frequencysignal range of the magnetic measurements of the Oersted, the CHAMP and the SAC-C satellites was determined by spectral analysis. The separation of the signal and the noise ranges is one of the most important parts for the derivation of the magnetic anomaly maps. The same UT data of the three satellites were analyzed. Quiet and disturbed days at same UT were selected for the spectrum analysis of the three satellites.. Different quantitative results were obtained by the inversion procedures based on the Bayesian method. The cylinder and triangular models were applied for the direct problems required by the inversion. The sources of the anomalies arewere in the upper crust in the region of the Pannonian basin.
