Abstract

Előadásomat azzal szeretném kezdeni, hol is indult két nemzedékkel ezelőtt és hogyan is fejlődött azóta a kutatás általános színvonala, s ebben milyen kiemelkedő szerepe volt és van a kísérleti pszichológiának. Majd megpróbálok valamiféle mai viszonyítást is tenni, hogy jellemezzem: mi van ma szervezetileg és intellektuálisan a kísérleti pszichológiában, és ennek milyen következményei lehetnek a minőséget illetően. | The paper is based on a memorial talk held at the 2011 annual meeting of the Hungarian Psychological Association. The paper starts from the situation two generations ago and tries to characterize the methodological development since, and the central role of experimental psychology in this development towards sophistication and Westernization. This is followed by some institutional and substantial comments on the present day Hungarian experimental psychology, and the consequences thereof towards the general quality of psychology in Hungary.
