Abstract

Following years of extensive renovation work to the Museum of Fine Art, the Roman Hall has also been restored to its former splendour. The latter suffered war damage and later insensitive modernization rendering it unusable since the end of WWII. As part of the Liget Budapest Project an important part of Budapest’s cultural heritage is now available for public viewing.
