Abstract

A szélesebb olvasóközönséghez is szólni kívánó monográfia feladata mindenekelőtt a Birodalom egyik legfejlettebb területének számító Nyugat-Kis-Ázsia városi közösségeinek bemutatása lenne: igazgatástörténet, a helyi autonómiák megvalósulása a római hatalom keretein belül (stb.). Mindez részben megvalósult. Témáink bemutatása során egyúttal bepillantást is nyerhetünk a régióban élő - etnikailag még a Kr. u. II. század derekán is meglehetősen vegyes képet mutató - lakosság mindennapjaiba. A rendelkezésünkre álló primér és szekundér források részbeni újraértékelésével mindez hasznos információkat szolgáltathat - többek között - az Imperium Romanumon belüli önkéntes akkultúráció egy példájának vizsgálatához: a Lycia-Pamphylia kettős tartomány nyugati részét képező Lykia esete. A fentebb jelzett témák kutatásában eddig több könyvrészletet, tanulmányt, és cikket jelentettem meg. E mellett külföldön konferencia és egyetemi előadásokat, továbbá szemináriumot tartottam. Nemzetközi konferencia-kötetben hosszabb tanulmányom is megjelent. | The main task of the planned work is firstly to present the urban communities of West Asia Minor, which were ranked amongst the most developed regions in the Empire: history of governing, creation of local autonomies within the frame of Roman power etc. All of these have been partially realised. In addition to present the above, we also gain insight to the everyday life of the inhabitants of the region, who showed a rather mixed ethnic composition even in the mid II. century A.D. Partial reassessing of the available primary and secondary sources could provide useful information, among others, to the examination of an example of voluntary aculturisation within Imperium Romanum: the case of Lycia, the western part of Lycia-Pamphylia dual province. During the research of the above mentioned subjects I published several book details, studies and articles. Besides I took part in foreign conferences and hold lectures and seminars. In an international conference-voume I brought out an extensive study.
