Abstract

Contemporary adobe architecture seems to abandon archetypes associated with building materials. Brave moves to expose adobe structures are made possible when employing some form of stabilization, where some pioneering examples do not require chemical additives. Seeing the success of these pioneers in adobe structures examining existing buildings to see how they function as a building material use type and how would the fare without their ominous hats and boots. With particular emphasis placed upon the research of the Folk Science Student Circle.
