Abstract
57 Orthoptera species based on limited systematical, but more occasional collectings gives an account of an inventory of grasshoppers. Among them 3 are under nature protection in Hungary {Poecilimon fussii, Calliptamus barbarus, Acrida ungarica). These and some other species (Oedaleus decerns, Myrmeleotettix antennatus, Odontopodisma decipiens, etc.) occurred here sporadically at low density in the peripheral zone of their area. Meconema méridionale was already detected here on the third occasion in Hungary and seems to be in expansion to northeast reaching the region of Lake Balaton.
