Abstract
The data to the fish fauna of Somogy county was summarised. 64 fish species (among them 14 introduced and immigrated) from Lake Balaton, from the River Dráva and from their catchment area were reported by their geographical range. The fish fauna of Lake Balaton is well monitored. Surveying of the fish fauna of the River Dráva has recently started. There are few systematic data from the springs, brooks and creeks, waters of wetlands, marshes and oxbows situated in Somogy county.
