Abstract

A kutatás Magyarország központi régiójának, Pest megye és részben Budapest evangélikus templomainak felmérését tűzte ki célul, ezen kívül a korábban kimaradt templomok feldolgozását is terveztük. 2007-ben Pest megye déli részén, (13 emlék) 2008-ban a megye északi részén és Budapest külső részén végeztünk templomfelmérést (18 épület), 2008-ban és 2009-ben további 8 elmaradt épület felmérésével és továbbiak dokumentálásával foglalkoztunk. A felmérés eredményeit adattárban rögzítettük. Az összegyűjtött anyag elemzéséből két fő tendenciát emeltünk ki, amelyeket az összegzés teljes feldolgozásához is mintául szolgálhatnak. Az egyik fő téma a főváros templomépítészete, amely kezdetben 19. század elején az új stílust teremtő Deák téri templommal mutatható be, a később sokasodó fővárosi templomok a historizáló templomépítészet kibontakozásával az ország számára is mintául szolgáltak. A 20. század elejének tipikus városi templomai között megjelennek újabb építészeti koncepciók is, ahol a hagyományos szakrális tér további közösségi-profán funkciókkal gyülekezeti központtá bővül. A másik fő elemzési irány a megye területén gyakori centrális későbarokk templomok megjelenése, amely Magyarországon ritkának számított, Európában viszont az egyik gyakori protestáns templomformát jelentette. Ennek elemzése egyúttal egy interkulturális kapcsolat feltérképezését is jelenteti az akkori Európában. A felmérések során közel 300 felmérési vázlat, 200 tervrajz és 2000 fotó készült. | The research aimed to record the Lutheran churches of the Central Region of Hungary by Budapest and in Pest County, and also some omitted ones by the previous researches. 13 churches had been recorded in the southern region of the County in 2007, followed by 18 in the nothern region and by the capital in 2008, and 8 buildings had been measured and others photographed till the end of 2009. The results are collected in a manuscript database. We emphasized two main tendencies in the analysis that may serve as a sample for the further summary of our research. The first aspect is the church architecture of the capital, that can be characterized initially by the beginning of the 19. century with the Lutheran church at Deák square creating a new style, and the growing number of churches in Pest served later as a model for the country in the development of Historicism. New concepts appear between the typical urban churches of the first half of the 20. century, where the traditional sacral space is combined with additional community-profane functions into an congregation centre. The second main aspect is the frequent occurrence of the late Baroque centrally planned layout in the central region, which is a rarity in historic Hungary although one of the frequent Protestant church type in Europe. It's analysis means at the same time the mapping of an intercultural contact. About 300 sketches, 200 plan drawings and 2000 photos were made in the course of the surveys.
