Abstract
This baroque collection of buildings and their surrounding gardens were established by the Eszterházy family in the 18th century, outstandingly located in the Vértes Hills Forest. The original monastery and its gardens have been fully restored introducing a contemporary visitor's centre on the bank of the original fishing lake. All the original functions of this complex have been retained, ranging from religious buildings to, fishponds, herb gardens and even the distinctive monastic cells.
