Abstract
Máriapócs is famous as a place of pilgrimage, especially for its baroque church, were a church on this site dates to the 14th century. The exercise here involved complex technical issues, damp proofing and stabilising structures in addition to work on the architectural character. The latter concerning minor yet important changes to the roofline, interior arrangement, and treatment of surfaces.
