Abstract

A magyar repülő- és űrorvosi kutatásokban a honvédorvosok jelentős szerepet játszottak. A hidegháború éveiben a titokvédelmi szabályok betartásával dolgoztak, szerepvállalásuk mindeddig nem kapott nyilvánosságot. Részt vettek a Varsói Szerződés repülő- és űrorvosi munkaértekezletein, kongresszusain és szimpóziumain. Tevékenységük az Interkozmosz programban is eredményes volt, űrélettudományi kutatásokat folytattak és ellátták a magyar űrrepülés körüli teendőket is. A magyar űrrepülés egyes fejezetei államtitoknak minősültek, szigorúan titkos kormányrendeletek szabályozták*. Az egykor titkos magyar űrrepülés néhány adata először kerül ismertetésre. = The Hungarian Military doctors played a major role in Hungarian aviation and space medicine. They fulfilled their duties in accordance with the confidentiality regulations during the Cold War therefore their role did not receive any publicity so far. They took part in the meetings, congresses and symposiums of Warsaw Pact considering aviation and space medicine. Their activities were successful in the Intercosmos Program as well as they carried out researches dealing with life sciences in space. Also, they served their duties being around Hungarian space-flight. Certain parts of the Hungarian space-flight were considered to be state secrets and were regulated by top secret government decrees. The formerly secret data in connection with Hungarian space-flight is released and described for the first time.
