Abstract
In my study entitled Didák Kelemen’s Eger connections I try to map the 18th-century grey friar preacher’s ties to Eger. I also show that although today we usually connect this Hungarian author to Miskolc or Nyírbátor, it is in fact highly likely, that he received the literary impressions most decisive in his later works in the city of Eger.
