Abstract
Collecting data of 98 species of water beetles (11 Haliplidae, 51 Dytiscidae, 2 Noteridae, 3 Gyrinidae, 1 Spercheidae, 5 Hydrochidae, 25 Hydrophilidae) are given from 99 localities in north part of the Great Hungarian Plain. Ilybius crassus Thomson, 1856 is new to the fauna of Hungary.
