Abstract
On Morphological Variability of Albinaria grisea – shells: (Deshayes, 1833) from the Southeast of the Peloponnesus. Albinaria grisea is a polytypic species, which occurs in the south of Greece. The „subspecies“ A. gr. micromaculata Neubert, 1998, A. gr. immensa (O. Boettger, 1889) and A. gr.akrocurta Gittenberger, 1994 occur at the south-east of the Peloponnesus in a very close neighborhood. Shell measures and their statistical evaluation show us, that A. gr. micromaculata and immensa are very similar and overlapping with the distributions of measurements and characters in a high degree. As a consequence the question arises, whether they are true subspecies or not.
