Abstract
Data are reported on the taxonomical and geographical distribution of Pyrausta cingulata (Linnaeus, 1758) and Pyrausta rectefascialis Toll, 1936. Structure of genitalia and morphological characteristics of wings are illustrated by figures. He analyses the habitats and the Hungarian distribution of the two species. He demonstrated the boundaries of the area on maps. Pyrausta rectefascialis ab. schmidti Szent-Ivány, 1941, syn. nova.
