Abstract
A single specimen of Liponeura klapaleki Vimmer, 1916 (= L. vimmeri Mannheims, 1954) taken at Gyöngyössolymos represents the first record of the family Blephariceridae from Hungary. The valid species name of the species is restored, L. vimmeri is suppressed as an unnecessary replacement name.
