Abstract
From 01/01/2006 and 31/12/2007 altogether 27 Hirudinea species were collected at 181 localities in Hungary. In this paper we present 710 distribution record of “Leeches”, were sampled through 65 days. The collected Hirudinea species belong to 5 families (12 Glossiphoniidae, 3 Piscicolidae, 1 Haemopidae, 2 Hirudinidae, 9 Erpobdellidae). In this paper “present/absent” information are published. Based on nationwide distribution frequency of the species, occurrence of Dina apathyi, Glossiphonia verrucata, Batracobdelloides moogi, Hirudo medicinalis, Hirudo verbana, Trocheta bykowskii and Trocheta riparia can be considered as, the most relevant faunistical results.
