Abstract
Author describes the Tardigrada species detected from 33 moss and 1 lichen samples from Albania. The 59% of the samples contained tardigrades, of which 30 species were detected. Most of the species are xerophylous and eurytopic. The similarity of the Tardigrada species originated from Albanian samples and of the nearby Bulgarian tardigrade fauna is 52%.
