Abstract
(Occurrence of Elophos vittaria mendicaria Herrich-Schäffer, 1852 in Hungary (Lepidoptera: Geometridae, Ennominae).) Elophos vittaria mendicaria Herrich-Schäffer, 1852 is recorded for the first time from Hungary. Two males were collected in Esztergom, however, their data were published in 2001, they have remained misidentified since collecting. Identity of these specimens is clarified now thus E. vittaria mendicaria is proved to be a new taxon for the fauna of Hungary. With eight figures.
