Abstract

2021-ben a magyar katona-egészségügyi intézményrendszer és tudományos infrastruktúra 240 éves fennállását ünnepelhette a katonaorvosi közösség, de emellett a jelenlegi szakmai szervezet, a Magyar Katonai- Katasztrófaorvostani Társaság alapításának 30. évfordulóját is. A két jubileum azonban nem választható el egymástól, hiszen már a modern értelemben vett katona-egészségügyi intézményrendszer megteremtésekor az alapító, II. József is gondolt e terület tudományos életének megszervezésére. Maga az MKKOT azonban elődjeire és a hagyományokra építve a magyarországi rendszerváltoztatás után, 1991-ben jött létre. = @e Hungarian military doctors celebrated 2021 the 240th anniversary of the Hungarian military health care system and the establishment of the scientific infrastructure, but also the 30th one of the founding of the current professional organization, the Magyar Katonai- Katasztrófaorvostani Társaság (MKKOT, Hungarian Society of Military and Disaster Medicine). @e two anniversaries cannot be separated from each other, in 1781 Joseph II. himself intended the organizing of scientific life in military medicine. However, building on it’s predecessors and traditions, the MKKOT was established aYer the change of regime (1990) in Hungary.
