Abstract
The subject of our study is the situation of Hungarian local governments in the rapidly developing info-communication environment. We are looking for answers to the questions of modern municipalities, especially the new tasks created by the changed legal environment in the information society, the expectations arising from the changed user habits, or even the possibilities for the development of the office itself. We will look at what new platforms are emerging along with formal communication, and which municipalities can and will use.
