Abstract
PILLAR OFFICES, BUDAPEST, HUNGARY; ARCHITECTS: GÁBOR ZOBOKI, ANDRÁS CSISZÉR and ÉVA OLAH Ochre, green, and teal colours do not only strive outward, but dissolve back into the base layer due to reflective surfaces. A game of balance between external, internal materials and surfaces, forms give this office complex a sense of place in the present. As suggested in it's name "Pillar" the transparency of this building standing above the street breaks away from the conventional office box aesthetic in favour of a new openness towards working environments.
