Abstract
In the course of 2003-2005 butterfly fauna of the Keszthelyi hills were studied. 1114 collected individuals belonging to 94 different species - including 23 protected species - were determined. 16 species have not been published in the butterfly fauna of the Keszthelyi hills yet. However 6 species mentioned in the literaturenot were not found during the examination. Some of the curiosities of the area are Maculinea teleius, Maculinea nausithous, Euphydryas aurinia.
