Abstract

HUNTING ESTATE RESTORATION, BODAJKI, HUNGARY; ARCHITECT: SÁNDOR HORVÁTH An important step to take in preparing visitors for any form of exhibition is the point of arrival. When the subject of an exhibition is contained in a traditional rural hunting lodge it would be a mistake to disrupt the composition between the existing building and its surrounding landscape, therefore, to replace the existing garden terrace with a contemporary styled reception area creates a transitional space between the grounds of the lodge and the exhibit within.
