Abstract

Cél: A publikáció célja, hogy áttekintést nyújtson a skót rendőrség felvételi rendszeréről, kiegészítése az Egyesült Királyság rendőri erőinek bemeneti követelményeivel foglalkozó hazai publikációkat. Módszertan: A kutatás a vonatkozó szakirodalom feldolgozásával valósult meg. Megállapítások: A kutatás révén feltárásra kerültek a skót rendőrség toborzásának hangsúlyos területei, a kiválaszthatósági feltételek, valamint az alkalmasságvizsgálati kritériumok, s ezek összességével átfogó rendszerkép jött létre. Érték: A publikáció legfőbb értéke, hogy bővíti a témával foglalkozó hazai szakirodalom ismeretrendszerét, emellett az adatok összehasonlító elemzéshez és további kutatáshoz is felhasználhatók. | Aim: The aim of this article is to provide an overview of the selection of the Scottish Police and to complete the previous publications related to the entry requirements of UK police forces. Methodology: The research was performed by elaborating the relevant literature. Findings: The research identified the major areas of the recruitment, the eligibility criteria and the entry requirements of Scottish Police. The article provides a detailed overview about the selection procedure of police in Scotland. Value: The article expands the knowledge of Hungarian literature related to police reinforcement, appropriate for comparative analysis and for further researches.
