Abstract
In some Late Eocene sections of Slovenia rich freshwater ostracoda faunas were detected. Four species are new: Kovalevskiella? creskovense nov. sp., Candona? creskovense nov. sp., Candona? krumbiegeli nov. sp., Herpetocyprella? jeleni nov. sp. From paleoecological point of view the most probable location is in a nearshore freshwater lake.
