Abstract

This bibliography has been compiled upon the occasion of the retirement of Miklós MONOSTORI, Professor of Palaeontology at Eötvös University, Budapest, at the age of seventy from... From what? An Emeritus Professor of this university, he continues teaching, regularly publishes on his favourite topic of ostracods from various ages, and serves on committees dealing with student matters. The bibliography reflects his interests in various aspects of fossil life, especially in his beloved ostracods, his commitment for careful documentation of fossils before using them for conclusions in palaeoecology. His passion for teaching yielded a number of books and lecture notes covering various branches of palaeontology, which provide guidance and abundant factual information also for those, who did not attend his lectures.
