Abstract
During a faunistical exploration of Nagy-berek at the Lake Balaton (Hungary) carried out between 2003 and 2009, 136 water beetle species were recorded. Important faunistic records are new localities of Hydroporus longicornis Sharp, 1871, H. melanarius Sturm, 1835, H. neglectus Schaum, 1845, H. notatus Sturm, 1835, H. umbrosus (Gyllenhal, 1808), Laccornis kocae (Ganglbauer, 1904), Agabus nebulosus (Forster, 1771), A. striolatus (Gyllenhal, 1808), Ilybius guttiger (Gyllenhal, 1818), Graphoderus zonatus (Hoppe, 1795), Gyrinus suffriani Scriba, 1855, Hydrochus megaphallus Berge Henegouwen, 1988, Cercyon hungaricus Endrődy-Younga 1967, Laccobius simulatrix d’Orchymont, 1932, Enochrus ater (Kuwert, 1888) and E. hamifer (Ganglbauer, 1901).
